About the Shadowfire Press Staff and Authors

Tracy Boyall: Finance Officer
Tracy writes under the name Auburnimp and has several books and short stories out. She lives in England and loves cats of all sizes. She is in charge of sending out royalty statements, making sure everyone gets paid, and looking after our shopping cart. She is our primary Customer Service Representative and does the occasional book edit. Tracy is learning book layout and cover art design in her spare time.

GJ Woodrum: Payment Processing
GJ is one of our authors, and she has graciously offered to process payments for Shadowfire Press at this time. She will also handle some customer service related issues and questions.

Our Art Department

Kat Haeske: Senior Artist
A huge fan of Michael's character, Bells, we met Kat through a mutual friend who was also a fan of Bells. She'd done some great fanart of Bells, and provided cover art for us at another publishing house that folded. When we decided to start Shadowfire Press, asking her to be an artist was just the next logical step. Kat lives in Germany. When Kat isn't working on her terrific covers, she writes. Her first published book, Diamond Wolf was released on October 6th of 2008 through Lyrical Press.

Fiona Jayde: Cover Artist
Fiona Jayde received a Bachelors degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis was in Digital Media - primarily in web and graphics design. Experienced in both digital and physical aspects of art making, the emphasis on composition, function and form can be seen throughout all mediums Fiona employs - from painting and drawing to 3D lighting and rendering. She also writes and her books can be found at Changeling Press, Cobblestone Press, her Red Sage book will be out in March of 2009.

Janet Elizabeth Jones: Cover Artist
As a reader, writer, librarian, web designer and graphic artist serving the publishing community, she is dedicated to the eco-friendly future of ePublishing and the concept of Print-on-Demand.

Marteeka Karland: Cover Artist
Emergency Room tech/clerk by day, artist and erotic author by night, Marteeka craves the creative outlets of the latter. Yes, the hours spent at the computer wreck havoc on her body, but that's an excellent excuse for massage therapy (and that guy is really cute, by the way. :P) She loves fantastical characters in fantastical stories she can put on a digital canvas and hopefully breath life into an author's dream. When she does something for herself, she loves beautiful woman and seriously hunky men.

Our Editing Staff

Helen Ravell: Senior Editor
Helen formerly worked with Michael and Auburnimp at one of their now defunct publishers. She agreed to continue editing their work here at Shadowfire Press as they can't do their own editing. Helen hails from Down Under and we're pleased to have her working with us.

Kelli: Editor
Kelli used to beta read for GJ, but she's done such a great job over the years that she came to us highly recommended for the job of editor.

Dawn Murphy: Copy Editor
Dawn answered our employment ad on the site and she impressed us with her skills as a copy editor.

Melissa: Proof Reader
Melissa started out as the official beta reader for Michael and Auburnimp's stories, but has now begun proof reading for Shadowfire Press.

Michael Barnette
When Michael isn't being the Editor-in-Chief or the Art Director for Shadowfire Press he enjoys penning some scorchingly hot stories of love and romance, liberally mixed with various classic themes like redemption, beating the bad guy and Good triumphing over Evil. In addition to his books with Shadowfire Press Michael has books with, Loose-id and Mojocastle Press with a soon to be released cowritten book with Aubunimp, Hajiri's Pet coming out through Liquid Silver Books, Molten Silver line.

Vyktoria Howard
Vyktoria is the erotic romance writing alterego of fantasy author GJ Woodrum. Oddly Vyktoria also has several cats, a collection of floral tea pots, mounds of stuffed animals, and a seriously neglected boyfriend. She also has a story accepted at Mojocastle Press, but the release date is, as yet, unknown.

Rian Monaire
Rian Monaire was born in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, and forced into existence by Stef Kelsey's husband and mother, who felt it was time her talents were utilized. Rian fought hard, but her efforts were futile. She then decided, "Well, they can bring me into this world, but I don't have to be nice." This launched her into her career of obnoxiousness and sarcasm...and, of course, writing erotica. Lauren Murphy
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, affectionately known as Chi-Town, Lauren Murphy has developed the wit and the knowledge needed in order to survive every day life. She began her writing career in high school colorfully illustrating her views and experiences on paper. Her love for writing blossomed deep inside of her. Moving to Nashville to attend college, she surprised everyone by earning a degree in mathematics. It has been often said that she is in fact two separate halves of one person. Although she can be very analytical one moment, she is a hopeless dreamer the next. Lauren diligently works at perfecting her craft as an author and it shows in her stories.
